<p>Promotional Emails are used for marketing purpose. They can be sent to your clients for announcement purposes, or to advertise new products or special promotions.</p>

      <li>To add a promotional email, go to Promo Tools > Promotional Emails > click on + Add New button. You will see a Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page. Below that you will see the following fields, which you need to fill

  <li><b>ubject - </b>Enter the Subject i.e. what the promotional email is about. This is a mandatory field.</li>

  <li><b>Message - </b>The entire message has to be entered in this field. This is again a mandatory field.</li>

  <li><b>Mail Template Fields - </b>In-build mail templates are provided here, which you can use in the messages field. The mail template fields that are available are :

<p>After filling the above fields, click on Update button. If the mandatory fields are not entered, you will receive an error. If all the mandatory fields are filled, you will see a message "<b>Added Successfully</b>".</p>

<div class="subtitle">Viewing Promotional Emails</div>

<p>The promotional emails you have added will be displayed on Promo Tools > Promotional Emails page.</p>

<div class="subtitle">Editing Promotional Emails</div>

<p>On the Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page where the promotional emails are displayed, click on the Action drop down menu and select Edit option of the text link you wish to edit.</p>

<p>On the Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page where the promotional emails are displayed, click on the Action drop down menu and select Inactivate. The promotional emails will be inactivated.</p>

Promotional Emails are used for marketing purpose. They can be sent to your clients for announcement purposes, or to advertise new products or special promotions.

Adding a Promotional Email
  • To add a promotional email, go to Promo Tools > Promotional Emails > click on + Add New button. You will see a Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page. Below that you will see the following fields, which you need to fill
    • ubject - Enter the Subject i.e. what the promotional email is about. This is a mandatory field.
    • Message - The entire message has to be entered in this field. This is again a mandatory field.
    • Mail Template Fields - In-build mail templates are provided here, which you can use in the messages field. The mail template fields that are available are :
      • [SiteTitle] - Title of The Site
      • [SiteUrl] - Url Of The Site
      • [UserName] - Member's User Name
      • [FirstName] - Member's First Name
      • [LastName] - Member's Last Name
      • [Email] - Member's Email
      • [MemberID] - Member Id
      • [RefLink] - Member Referral Link


After filling the above fields, click on Update button. If the mandatory fields are not entered, you will receive an error. If all the mandatory fields are filled, you will see a message "Added Successfully".

Note : The Text Link can be viewed in the member's area under Promo Tools > Promotional Emails

Viewing Promotional Emails

The promotional emails you have added will be displayed on Promo Tools > Promotional Emails page.

Editing Promotional Emails

On the Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page where the promotional emails are displayed, click on the Action drop down menu and select Edit option of the text link you wish to edit.

Inactivating Promotional Emails

On the Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page where the promotional emails are displayed, click on the Action drop down menu and select Inactivate. The promotional emails will be inactivated.

Activating Promotional Emails

On the Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page where the promotional emails are displayed, click on the Action drop down menu and select Activate. The promotional emails will be activated.

Deleting Promotional Emails

On the Promo Tools / Promotional Emails page where the text links are displayed, click on the Action drop down menu and select Delete. You will be asked to confirm whether you want to delete, click on OK and your text link will be deleted.
