Membership Settings - Settings / Membership Settings

*Note : In the previous version, auto update was checking all processor balances when membership was upgraded. In this new version, when membership is purchased, then only the particular processor balance is checked from which the membership is purchased instead of checking all processor balances.


For instance, if Member A purchases membership from Payza, and when the system cron checks the membership for auto-upgrade, then amount will be checked in Payza only and not from all processor balances.

Admin can Add/Edit/Delete memberships from this page. Take a note that if you Inactivate/Delete a membership which has active members, they will not receive any benefits of having that membership i.e. No position earnings, no additional commission, etc.

  • Adding Membership

*Note : If you plan to award Ad Credits to the members with the membership, make sure that the credit ad systems are enabled from Settings -> Advertisement Settings page. Take a note that ad credit plans that you select below will be awarded to members upon Membership Renewals too.

  • Adding Membership
    • Status : Select whether you want to keep the membership as Active or Inactive. Only Active Memberships can be purchased by members. And members with Inactive Membership will not get the benefits of having the membership.
    • Purchase Status : If set to 'Active', the plan will be displayed on member side when purchasing positions.
    • Hide? : Set this to 'No' if you do not want members to see this membership on Membership Purchase Page. This option is useful when you want to allow only Selected Members to purchase this membership. Just provide the direct link to your selected members to allow them to purchase this membership. The link can be found at the end of membership edit page once you have created one.
    • Allow Coupons on Purchase : Choose whether you want to allow coupons while members are purchasing plans.
    • Membership Name :* Specify the name of the membership plan here.
    • Membership Price ($) :* Specify the price of the membership plan here.
    • Membership Payment Type :* Specify the payment frequency for this membership. The options are One Time, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly or Every 'n' Days.
    • Allow plan(s) when Membership Renewed : Select "Yes" if you want to allow plans(s) on auto renewal of membership.
    • Banner Ad Plan : Select the Banner Ad Plan that you would like to award to the members who purchase this membership.
    • Text Ad Plan : Select the Text Ad Plan that you would like to award to the members who purchase this membership.
    • Solo Ad Plan : Select the Solo Ad Plan that you would like to award to the members who purchase this membership.
    • PPC Plan : Select the PPC plan that you would like to award to the members who purchase this membership.
    • PTC Plan : Select the PTC plan that you would like to award to the members who purchase this membership.
    • Biz Directory Plan : Select the Biz Directory plan that you would like to award to the members who purchase this membership.
    • Pay Commission For The First Membership Fee Payment Only : Choose whether you want to provide Referral Commission for the referral's First Membership Fee Payment only. If you set to 'No', referral commission will be provided for all the membership fee payments by a referral.
    • Referral Commission on Membership Fees (%) :* Specify the Number of Levels you want to provide Referral Commission to for membership fees here. And enter the percentage amount that will be paid to sponsors when one of the referrals pay membership fees. Set the value to 0 (zero) when you do not want provide referral commission.
    • Additional Commission on Purchases (%) :* Referral Commission is given to the sponsor when any one of his Referral Purchases Any Product from the site. You can provide Additional Commission when sponsor has purchased this membership. Additional Commission will be calculated on the referral commission. So, suppose you specify 10% here and sponsor's referral commission is $10. Then, he'll receive $10 + $1(10% of $10) as commission.
    • Additional Commission on Membership Fees (%) :* Referral commission is given to the sponsor when any one of his referral pays Membership Fees. you can provide Additional Commission when sponsor has this membership. additional commission will be calculated on the referral commission. so, suppose you specify 10% here and sponsor's referral commission is $10. he'll receive $10 + $1(10% of $10) as commission.
    • Payment Method :* Choose the Balance Type(s) that can be used to purchase this membership.
    • Allowed Payment Processors :* You can decide which Processors can be used to this membership. Only the processor(s) that you select here can be used by member while purchasing this membership.
    • Link : This is a Direct Link to purchase this membership. This is useful especially when you have hidden the membership using the 'Hide?' option above.

Click on Submit to add the Membership.

Editing Membership
On the Membership Settings Page, click on the Action button of the corresponding membership and click on Edit.

Deleting Membership
On the Membership Settings Page, click on the Action button of the corresponding membership and click on Delete.

Activating/Inactivating Membership
On the Membership Settings Page, click on the Action button of the corresponding membership and click on Activate/Inactivate.
