Themes - Design & CMS / Member Themes

There are two tabs in the Design & CMS / Member Themes page :

  • Themes
  • Admin Theme
Themes

The ProXCore script comes with 3 themes for the Member's area.

  • Changing Theme

To change the theme, click on the Action icon and click on Activate Theme. The selected theme will be activated in the Member's area.

Note : If you have set Cache Time from Settings -> Website Settings => Main Details page, theme changes will take effect after that particular time.

Adding Theme

Click on the Add New button and enter the following fields :

Theme Path : This is the path where you are supposed to upload the theme folder.

Theme Name :* This is a mandatory field. Enter your theme name here.

Note : Theme name and the folder name must start with a capital letter. Make sure that theme name matches exactly with the folder name you upload.

Thumb Image Full Name :* Enter the name of the thumbnail image. Make sure it is present at 'app/View/Themed/THEME_DIRECTORY/ webroot/img/'. Also make sure that you enter the full name of the image. (E.g.: image.jpg or image.png).

Display in Theme Change Option : If you select 'Yes', then members will be able to change the theme for themselves if you allow them to do so from the settings page. If you do not want to allow them to select this theme themselves, then set this to 'No'.

Click on Submit and the theme will be added.

Member Side

You can decide which Menus and Elements you want to be visible on the member side from here. Click on the icon below the 'Status' field to activate/inactivate the respective Menu or Element.

You can click on the Menu Name link to see its submenu list. You can also enable/disable submenus. Click on the checkbox next to the submenu to enable or disable the respective submenu from the member side. In order to apply the submenu updates, ensure that you click on Update Submenu button on the right hand side. .

Public Side

You can decide which Elements you want to be visible on the public side from here. Click on Activate/Inactivate menu under the Status field to do so.

Credit Based Advertisements Display Settings

  • Enter the following fields
    • Number of Text Ads to be Shown on Public Area :* Enter the number of text ads that you wish to be displayed on the public area.
    • Number of Text Ads to be Shown Inside Member Area :* Enter the number of text ads that you wish to be displayed inside the member's area.
    • Number of Banners (125X125) to be Shown on Public Area :* Enter the number of banners (125X125) you wish to be displayed on the public area.
    • Number of Banners (125X125) to be Shown Inside Member Area :* Enter the number of banners (125X125) you wish to be displayed in the member's area.
    • Number of Banners (468X60) to be Shown on Public Area :* Enter the number of banners (468X60) you wish to be displayed on the public area.
    • Number of Banners (468X60) to be Shown Inside Member Area :* Enter the number of banners (468X60) you wish to be displayed in the member's area.

Click on Update to apply the changes.

*Note : For The Number of Ads Below, Enter The Number And Click Corresponding Help Icon to Get The Code. Copy The Lines One By One And Put it Where You Want to Show The Ad. You Must Put All The Lines in The ctp File - app/View/Themed/ACTIVE_THEME/Layouts/default.ctp or There Will Be Mismatches. You Can Anytime Change This Number And Get The New Codes By Clicking on The Icon. Don't Forget to Press The Update Button Below After Copying The Code. Take a Note That Same Type of Banners Will Have Same Code For Both - Public Area And Member Area. So, Do Not Put Same Code in a File Unless You're Putting it in Conditions. For Example, Code Lines For 'Number of Banners (125X125) to be Shown on Public Area' And 'Number of Banners (125X125) to be Shown Inside Member Area' Will Be Same. Do Not Put The Lines in a File Twice.

  • Plan Banner Ads Display Settings
    • Rotating Banners (125X125) - Public Area :*
    • Static Banners (125X125) - Public Area :*
    • Rotating Banners (125X125) - Member Area :*
    • Static Banners (125X125) - Member Area :*
    • Rotating Banners (468X60) - Public Area :*
    • Static Banners (468X60) - Public Area :*
    • Rotating Banners (468X60) - Member Area :*
    • Static Banners (468X60) - Member Area :*
    • Rotating Banners (728X90) - Public Area :*
    • Static Banners (728X90) - Public Area :*
    • Rotating Banners (728X90) - Member Area :*

Click on Update to apply the changes.

*Note : For The Number of Ads Below, Enter The Number And Click Corresponding Help Icon to Get The Code. Copy The Lines One By One And Put it Where You Want to Show The Ad. You Must Put All The Lines in The ctp File - app/View/Themed/ACTIVE_THEME/Layouts/default.ctp or There Will Be Mismatches. Click on Update to apply the changes.

Settings
  • There are two fields in this
    • Show Recent Payouts : Select Yes if you want to Show Recent Payout menu link on the front side. Otherwise select No.
    • Allow Member to Change Theme : Select Yes if you want to allow members to change the theme. Otherwise select No.
Admin Theme

You can add a new Admin Theme from here. Click on "Add New" button to add a new Admin Theme. Then enter the following details :

  • Theme Path : This is the path where you are supposed to upload the theme folder.
  • Theme Name:* This is a mandatory field. You need to enter the theme name here.
  • Note : Theme Name and The Folder Name Must Start With a Capital Letter. Make Sure That Theme Name Matches Exactly With The Folder Name You Upload.
